A thirty-two (32) year old resident of Ajemaso, a suburb of Bekwai in the Ashanti region, Kofi Kwakye has allegedly severed the wife over suspicion of infidelity.
The suspect reportedly carried out the act Monday dawn after questioning the victim over his suspicion.
Rainbow Radio’s Abdul Malik Anokye told Nyankonton Mu Nsem that, the suspect who is currently on the run, had accused the wife of cheating on him and asked her to stop.
However, on Monday dawn, the suspect who had hidden the cutlass under his bed, woke the wife up and started questioning her and because he was unsatisfied with the explanation the victim gave, he inflicted the machete wounds on her.
The victim is currently on admission at the hospital.
