Man gives school uniforms to needy children

Apam, Nov 08, GNA – Twenty brilliant but needy pupils from some basic schools in Apam were on Monday given free school uniforms. Mr Kwabena Kwei, an opinion leader from Apam, provided two bales of the materials while the Gomoa District Office of the Ghana Education Service paid for the sewing.

Madam Emma Quaicoe, Gomoa District Director of Education who presented the uniforms, urged the beneficiaries to learn hard to prove that they deserve the offer.

Mr Kwei said he intended to make the offer yearly and advised parents to allow their wards adequate time to study at home, especially in the evening, instead of engaging them in trading.
