Man gets 20 years for defiling to girls

Sunyani, March 19, GNA – A 25-year-old man, Yaw Nyatseh of Sankore near Kukuom in the Asunafo South District, has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment in hard labour for defiling two teenagers. Police Superintendent Mr. Charles Domanban, Brong Ahafo Regional Crime Officer, told the GNA that on February 26, a resident of Sankore, Madam Yaa Pinamang, lodged a complaint with the local police that her daughter aged 11 had been defiled by Nyatseh. On the same day another victim aged 12 years old also reported to the police that she had also been defiled by the suspect. Nyatseh was arrested and charged with the offence after investigations by the police, the crime officer added. Mr. Domanban said the suspect was subsequently arraigned before the circuit court at Goaso.
