Man found dead at Juaben; residents suspect foul play

A man believed to be in his 40s has been found dead in a palm plantation belonging to the Paramount Chief of Ejisu Juaben, in the Ejisu Juaben Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

It is unclear what killed the young man but residents suspect foul play in the death of the man.

According to the assembly member in area, Hon Kwadwo Sarpong, the residents have that believe as the posture in which the deceased was found points to the fact he couldn’t have died from suicide.

He said,“there is a small poisonous container beside him and some blood stains in his right arm giving an indication that he could have been injected.”

Hon. Kwadwo Sarpong said the deceased is yet to be identified as he’s not known in the area. The body has since been deposited at the Juaben Government Hospital mortuary by the Juaben police.

Hospital authorities say the body will be buried very soon as it has decomposed and emitting a terrible odour.
