Residents are still astonished at the demand of a cocoa farmer who caught his wife and another man having sex in a bush at Sefwi in the Ashanti Region.
The farmer Opanyin Yaw Gyan caught his wife and the man on a cocoa farm in the act and is demanding for an amount of GHC G500 to allow sleeping dogs lie.
He reported the incident to the Traditional Council who later adjudicated the matter and when the farmer was asked what he wanted, he demanded for the amount.
The Council as shocked as they were asked the farmer for the second and third time if indeed he wanted GHC500 to settle the matter.
The Council after a careful deliberation charged the granted Yaw Gyan’s request and asked his offender to pay him the money and further purchase two rams which will be used for cleansing purposes at on the farm where he had sex with Gyan’s wife.
