Man defrauds his brother

The police are looking for a 36-year-old man, Jonathan Martey, who claims to be a clearing agent at Takoradi Harbour, for allegedly defrauding his brother.

The police told the GNA in an interview that the complainants are Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Martey the suspect is the junior brother of Gabriel Martey.

The police said on July 14 the couple logged a complain at the Station that Jonathan visited them in Kumasi in February and told his senior brother that he could register their Hyundai Santafe S. T. Wagon without any difficulties.

The couple handed over the vehicle including the documents to him but after waiting for a while and not getting any feedback they reported the matter to the police who also directed them to the Customs, Excise and Preventive Service Directorate in Takoradi.

The police said Jonathan had not been traced.
