Man defiles 13 year old girl

Cape Coast, November 25, GNA – Kojo Abeka, a 28- year- old driver was on Thursday remanded in prison custody by a circuit court in Cape Coast for defiling a 13- year- old girl at Assin Andoe in the Central Region.

Abeka pleaded not guilty and was remanded to reappear on Thursday, December 1st.

Prosecuting, DSP Samuel Oduro Kwarteng-Addae, told the court presided over by Mrs. Florence Kai-Otoo, that on October 16 this year, at about 20.00 hours the victim was sent by her grandmother, Madam Alanorna Adwoa to buy kenkey from the lorry station at Assin Andoe.

He said on her way back, the victim met the accused who lured her into his room and forcibly had sex with her after which he gave her one Ghana cedi and threatened that she would die if she disclosed the ordeal to anyone.
