Man commits suicide in Bolgatanga

The body of a man believed to be in his late twenties was found in the early hours of Wednesday hanging on a tree with a rope at Tindonsobligo, a suburb of Bolgatanta in the Upper East Region.

The body of the deceased identified as Alolga Nyaba Abua, was discovered about 200 meters away from his house. The reasons for the suicide were unknown.

Police officials who arrived at the scene at about 0940 hours said investigations would be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Bolgatanga Hospital morgue where an autopsy would be conducted.
