Man City Weigh January Move for Antoine Semenyo as Winger Search Intensifies

Manchester City are preparing to reinforce their attacking options in the January transfer window, with Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo emerging as one of the names under consideration.

Sources told MailSport that City’s recruitment team is currently assessing whether the squad needs a dynamic, powerful winger, one capable of driving directly at defenders or a more technical, creative wide player to complement their existing options.

Semenyo, who has impressed at Bournemouth with his pace, strength and growing end-product, fits the profile of the more direct attacker City are evaluating. His versatility across the frontline is also understood to be an attraction for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Manchester City have dealt with injuries and inconsistency in the wide areas this season, prompting a renewed focus on bolstering depth and style options. While no formal approach has been made, Semenyo remains firmly on the list as the club shapes its January strategy.

The coming weeks are expected to determine the exact profile of winger City will pursue as Guardiola looks to sharpen his team for the second half of the campaign.
