Miss Afia Badu, 45, a hard liquor vendor on Sunday night narrowly escaped rape from one of her cherished customers, Akwasi Akore popularly known as Akwasi Shatta but was severely bitten by the supposed rapist.
She sustained a couple of body scars. The incident happened at Adansi Formena in the Ashanti Region.
The victim was dead asleep at home when Akwasi Shatta woke her to buy local gin populalrly called ‘akpeteshie.
As the woman entered the room to sell the liquor, the purported rapist entered the room and shut the door.
