Man attacks former wife on the farm

Ho, June 13, GNA – Madam Florence Agbadi 40, of Ziavi near Ho, was on Monday allegedly slashed on the farm by Edem Wugah, 30, her former husband. Madam Agbadi had deep cuts on the neck and arms and was soaked in blood when she went to the police station to report the matter.

Miss Florence Agbagba daughter of Madam Agbadi told the GNA that Wugah allegedly trailed her mother to the farm where he wrestled her cutlass from her and slashed her several times.

She said Wugah and her mother have a four-year old son but are separated.

Miss Agbagba said Wugah occasionally visited her mother in an attempt at reconcile their relationship.

She said Wugah out of frustration resorted to assaulting her mother who reported such assaults to traditional authorities.

She said she was in Ho when she was called from Ziavi that Wugah had slashed her mother.

Meanwhile, the Police in Ho have issued a medical form to Madam Agbadi as an investigation into the case continues.
