Man arrested with 120 slabs of narcotic drugs 

The National Highway Patrol Unit of the Ghana Police Service has arrested Ernest Mohamed Adjiri for the unlawful possession of narcotic drugs in the Greater Accra Region.

The suspect was arrested through a special intelligence operation, carried out by a team of Police officers.
In a statement, the Ghana Police Service revealed that the operation led to the retrieval of 120 slabs of compressed dried leaves suspected to be narcotic drugs, concealed in three fertilizer sacks on board a Hyundai i10 taxi cab with registration number GW 9832-22.
During interrogation, Mohammed admitted ownership of the items and was taken into custody.
He is scheduled to put before court for further action.
