Man arrested for illegal trafficking of Ghanaians to Guinea

The Nsawam Police have arrested one Amewugah of Nsawam Ayigbetown for unlawfully trafficking 30 young men between the ages of 18 to 21 years to Guinea without the knowledge of their parents.

Briefing the GNA, Superintendent of Police Akwasi Kankam Boadu, the Nsawam Police Commander, said the case had been transferred to the Anti-Human Traffic Unit of the Police Service at Koforidua for further action.

He said the Nsawam Police are still investigating the case until the 30 young men are deported back to Ghana
