Man allegedly stabs himself to death

Sunyani, Feb 05, GNA – A number of people on Tuesday rushed to a bush near the Nana Bosoma Market in Sunyani to catch a glimpse of a 25-year-old unemployed, Nana Kusi, who had allegedly knifed himself to death.

An eyewitness said they heard the shout of a farmer that someone had killed himself on his farm and when they rushed to the scene, they found the body of the deceased with all the intestines gushing out.

The police confirmed the incident and said the body of the deceased had been conveyed to the Regional Hospital in Sunyani pending autopsy. In another development, the decomposed body of an unidentified woman believed to be in her twenties was found on Wednesday in a bush behind the Municipal Assembly office.

A police source told Ghana News Agency they were waiting for a pathologist to perform an autopsy on the deceased.
