Juaso (Ash), Aug 04, GNA – The Juaso circuit court presided over by Mr Jacob B. Boon has sentenced a 55-year-old man, Seth Yaw Boakye, to five years imprisonment for indecently assaulting a two-year-old girl. Boakye, who pleaded guilty to the offence, was convicted on his own plea.
Prosecuting, Detective Inspector Michael Bekoe told the court that both the accused and the victim lived in the same community at Kyekyebiase near Agogo.
On July 25, Boakye invited the victim into his room, made her to lie on the floor and brushed his manhood against her private part until he discharged.
The prosecutor said someone who saw the victim emerge from Boakye’s room with stains of sperm in her dress informed the mother of the victim leading to the arrest of the accused.
