A 45-year-old man, Kwaku Adjei, has murdered his wife Adwoa Okyere, 25, at Oboadaka near Nsawam in the Eastern region.
The incident occurred Tuesday morning, Starr News’ Kojo Ansah has reported.
The suspect allegedly ambushed the wife in a bush and slashed her several times with a machete until she died. It is unclear what triggered his action.
Adjei who has six children with the deceased is currently at large and is being sought by the Police.
A relative of the deceased told Kojo Ansah the suspect is a known weed smoker in the community and often had heated augments with his wife.
Meanwhile, the police have arrived at the crime scene and conveyed the body of the deceased to the mogue.
