Man, 36, defiles five-year-old girl

Koforidua, Feb 1, GNA – Joseph Tetteh, a 36-year-old farmer, is in the grip of the Koforidua Police for allegedly defiling a five-year-old girl at Nkurakan in the Eastern Region.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Eunice Annor said on January 01, the victim was playing with some children on their compound when the suspect, who was then coming from his farm, called the victim but she refused. She said Tetteh whisked the victim into a near-by cassava farm and forcibly defiled her with the other children running away in fear. MrsAnnor said on January 05, the victim narrated her ordeal to her parents and a report was made at the Nkurakan police. The suspect was then arrested and he confessed having defiled the girl= ..
