Malyasians To Go Into Estate Development

Dodowa (G/A), Aug. 13, – A group of Malaysian investors, in partnership with some Ghanaians, are to undertake a housing development project at Dodowa in the Dangme West District of the Greater Accra Region. The project is to help ease congestion in the Accra Metropolitan area. Mr S.H. Tieku, district planning officer of the Dangme West District Assembly, disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Dodowa today after a team of estate developers had called at his office. Mr Tieku said the Malaysians had called to ask for land for the project and that a suitable site in the Ayikuma, Agomeda and Kordiabe area has been earmarked for the investors. He warned individuals to desist from putting up unauthorised structures in areas mapped out by the assembly for development. The district capital, Mr Tieku stated, is fast developing with a number of investors and business executives acquiring plots of land.
