Malian President congratulates President Mahama

Professor Diocounda Traore, President of Mali has congratulated President John Dramani Mahama on his electoral victory on December 7.

“The confidence that the Ghanaian people have placed in you results from laudable efforts that you always deploy for the socio-economic development of your country and the reinforcement of democracy,” he said.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Malian President.

President Traore assured President Mahama of his commitment to work for the reinforcement of the excellent friendly relations and fraternal cooperation existing between the two countries.

“I remain convinced that our common efforts, on the bilateral as well as on multilateral plan, will lead to peace, stability and security, regionally and internationally,” he said.
