Majority Leader urges MMDAs to comply by President’s directive

Zebilla (U/E), April 8, GNA – The Majority leader in Parliament, Mr. Cletus Avoka, has donated a computer and its accessories to the Zebilla Police Station. He underscored the need for all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies to comply with the President’s directive to use part of the Common Fund to put up accommodation for the security personnel. He said the Zebilla District Assembly had already started implementing the directive of the President to ease the problem of accommodation of the security personnel in the area. Mr Avoka said the Zebilla Police Administration was using an old typewriter which was hindering their work and that prompted him to donate the computer. He commended the Zebilla police for maintaining peace in the area and appealed to them to ensure that the Bawku conflict did not spill over to Zebilla. The District Police Commander, Assistant Superintendent of Police Christopher Owusu Mpianim thanked the MP for the donation. 08 April 10
