Mahama’s victory was ordained by God – Quashigah

The newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Keta, Richard Quashigah has stated that President John Mahama’s victory in last Friday’s election was by divine intervention.

According to him, his victory and that of the president was sanctioned by God.

Speaking on Citi FM on Thursday, Mr. Quashigah indicated that “everything that happened in life has been pre-arranged by God and that is why the president’s victory should not be a surprise to anybody”.

Continuing, he labeled the election as one of the most successful and transparent elections Ghana has ever organized, stressing that the allegations of malpractices are misplaced.

Mr. Quashigah comfortably won the Keta seat by pulling 33,570 of the valid votes cast.

He revealed that as part of his duties as an MP, he would spend quality time with his constituents and also make good use of technology to reach out to his people.
