Mahama’s popularity soars in U.S as American Universities chase him with appointments

Former President John Dramani Mahama has been approached by a number of American Universities for teaching appointments, according to grapevine sources.

“In fact, negotiation is ongoing on the offers,” according to one of the sources.

Mahama who was invited to speak in a number of American Universities yesterday-31st of March- visited Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston University and Harvard University.

The former president also used the opportunity to interact with Ghanaian students in the school as well as Vice Chancellor of University of Johannesburg, Ihron Lester Rensburg and Mrs. Folorunso Alakija, one of Africa’s richest women in the World – among other personalities.

Mahama has been on high demand since the conclusion of the 2016 Presidential Election – as he fly around the world for speaking engagements.

In February, he was hosted in Kenya by Kenyan Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) where he spoke on: “The Economy In The Light of Elections And Conducting Free And Fair Elections.”

Few weeks after, he was decorated with African Political Leader of the Year Award in South Africa, where he also delivered a keynote address on: “How Can Africa Win The Progress Race?”
