Mahama’s mother laid to rest

President John Dramani Mahama was Friday joined by hundreds of sympathizers as he buried his mother at Busunu in the West Gonja District of the Northern region.

Hajia Abiba Nnaba died on admission at the Trust Hospital in Accra on Tuesday night.

Her body was airlifted to Busunu Friday morning where funeral service was held for her after Friday afternnoon Prayers (Jumah).

Muslim prayers were led by the Chief Imam of Busunu Malam Iddris which was followed by the burial at a private residence in the community.

Hajia Abiba Nnaba died at the age of 85.
