Mahama’s killing: Seventeenth suspect arrested at Sefwi-Dwinase

One more suspect has been arrested at Sefwi-Dwinase in the Western region in connection with the murder of Captain Maxwell Mahama.

The suspect Emmanuel Appiah was arrested by Police Officers from the Sefwi Wiawso Divisional Police Command and will soon be transferred to Accra for further investigations.

This brings to 17, the total number of suspects linked to the killing of the Army Officer lynched by locals of Denkyira- Boase in the Central region on Monday, May 29, 2017.

Police Friday arrested another suspect linked to the gruesome murder of Captain Maxwell Mahama.

The suspect had visited his girlfriend at Gomoa Dominase in the Central Region but her girlfriend reported him to the police at Gomoa Odjobi, where the Police captured him.

Meanwhile, some seven suspects were arraigned in court this week, and have been remanded to police custody to reappear on 19th June, 2017.

The seven included Denkyira-Boase assemblyman, William Baah, who turned himself in to police this week.
