Deputy General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), lawyer Obiri Boahen has stated that President Mahama will lose the 2016 presidential elections no matter the lies and propaganda he employs.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen said the time has finally come for the President to hand over power to a competent government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo come November 7, should Ghana go the polls.
According to him, the NPP have uncovered plans by the ruling government and the Electoral Commission (EC) to rig the general elections, hence they will do all they can to prevent that.
The outspoken politician said, the time has finally come for the ruling government to vacate the presidency for crippling Ghana’s economy, and failing to deliver their better Ghana Agenda promised Ghanaians. Lawyer Obiri Boahen said President Mahama has failed to build on the interventions introduced under the administration of former President Kufuor.
He said workers have suffered under this administration, while some have hit the streets because they have no jobs after completing school.
He indicated that government have used SADA, YEA and other so-called initiatives as vehicle for their corruption. Lawyer Obiri Boahen who was sure of victory 2016 said, change is coming with a dedicated, committed and a responsible government to manage the resources of Ghana to benefit every single Ghanaian.
