Mahama warns Trump against withdrawal from Paris Climate Agreement

The former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has sent a warning to US President Donald Trump to reconsider his decision over the withdrawal of the US from the COP agreement.

Mahama has said that the exit of the US from the COP agreement will be catastrophic since the US contributes to 20% of CO2 pollution in the atmosphere.

The Paris Climate Agreement is an agreement aimed at controlling the emission of carbon and protecting against the risk of climate change.

But the two senior officials familiar with the plans of the US President revealed to CNN that Trump is expected to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement.

This will set the US apart from Nations who have come together to curb global warming.
