Mahama to visit Dawhenya Irrigation Dam site

President John Mahama will this (Saturday) afternoon pay a working visit to the Dawhenya Irrigation Dam site in the Greater Accra Region.

Rehabilitation works have started on the dam, and the President will be acquainting himself with the project, the expected impact on completion and how the project will contribute to his plans for improving total agricultural output.

The President will also visit the Agave Afedume area of the South Tongu District in the Volta Region, where he will interact with the people of Asidowui and surrounding communities.

President Mahama will inaugurate a completed water project that has delivered safe, clean drinking pipe borne water to 13 communities including Asidowui.
