Mahama to deliver state of nation address next week

President John Dramani Mahama will deliver the state of the nation’s address in Parliament on February 21.

Mr Alfred Agbesi, Deputy Majority Leader, said this when he read the Business statement for the fourth week ending Friday February 22, 2013.

He said it is in accordance with Article 67 of the Constitution adding that members were entreated to attend the event.

Mr Agbesi also announced the burial arrangement for Mr Henry Ford Kamel, former Volta Regional Minister, with the body being conveyed in a casket from the 37 Military Hospital on February 22 to the State at 0700 hours and then later to be taken to his hometown in the Volta Region for burial.
