Mahama swears-in Peace Council board

President Mahama has admonished members of the National Peace Council Board to discharge their duties without fear or favour.

President Mahama yesterday at the flagstaff house swore into office a nine member board to ensure the peace of the country as Ghana prepares for the 2016 election.

The National Peace Council among their constitutional mandate is to dialogue with key stakeholders in peace-building and also facilitate mediation in key conflicts areas within the country.
