Mahama shares experience as a preacher

President of the republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama was at the Good Friday service held by the Light House International Church at the Black Star Square.

As the president mounted the stage to address the congregation, the crowd urged him to preach hence leading him to shared his experience in preaching the gospel of Christ.

His excellency John Dramani Mahama stated that it’s not an easy task to mount the podium as a preacher. Back in his church at Assemblies of God, he shared that he had the opportunity to preach the word during their Men Ministries Day, but the president confessed that he had sleepless night prior to the service since he didn’t know what to preach.

He also added that one must have a divine inspiration to be able to preach the word of God.

President John Dramani Mahama went on to say that as politician he is used to addressing people at rallies, talking about economic and social issues but not preaching the gospel of Christ.

He also commended men of God in the for helping sustain peace in the country.

He urge the congregation to count their blessings one by one to see what the Lord has done in their lives.
