Mahama sacks PNC dep. General Secretary

The 2016 Presidential nominee of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Mahama, has dismissed the party’s Deputy General Secretary, Mohammed Haruna, from office for accusing him of embezzlement.

In a letter dated January 24, 2017, and addressed to Mr. Haruna, the medical practitioner said: “In my capacity as the leader of the People’s National Convention (PNC), I hereby dismiss you, Mohammed Haruna from your position as Deputy General Secretary of the party effective Tuesday January 24th 2017”.
