Mahama returns from Yamoussoukro

President John Mahama has returned home from Yamoussoukro, Cote d’ Ivoire where he participated in the 42nd Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Heads of States and Government.

The two-day summit reviewed on-going efforts to restore peace, democracy and political stability to Mali and Guinea Bissau.

Meanwhile, Ivorian President Alhassan Quattara has been retained as Chairman of ECOWAS for a second term.

The next summit takes place in Abuja, Nigeria.
