Mahama postpones State of the Nation address

XYZ News can confirm that the State of the Nation Address to be delivered by President John Mahama has been postponed.

President Mahama was expected to address the nation on Thursday February 20 in accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution.

However, in a letter from the Presidency to the Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho, President Mahama explained that due to unforeseen circumstances, the State of the Nation has been moved from Thursday to Tuesday February 25.
