Mahama must trumpet achievements – Dele Momodu

Nigerian Journalist, Publisher, businessman, philanthropist, actor and motivational speaker Chief Dele Momodu has advised the Mahama-led administration to trumpet its achievements to Ghanaians.

According to him, a lot of good works are being undertaken across the country despite the humongous challenges that faces the country and Ghanaians must be made to know.

“President Mahama has come at such a difficult time, the world is in turmoil, it is not just Ghana…but I see a lot of activities going on, I just listened to the mayor of Tema talk about what they are doing in Tema and they would not be doing that if they don’t have someone at the top who is able to inspire him.

“President Mahama has put in his best and needs to be encouraged…I go through the airport and I see a lot of things. I think what the government in Ghana needs to do is to publicise its activities more…no government is perfect but definitely something is going on in Ghana,” Chief Momodu told Morning Starr host Nii Arday Clegg Friday.

Mahama to win November polls

Chief Momodu who is also the CEO of Ovation International, and failed in his bid to be elected President of Nigeria in last year’s election in that country tipped President Mahama to win Ghana’s presidential elections in November.

According to him, even though it is difficult to predict who would emerge victorious in the November 7 polls, incumbency is likely to play to the advantage of NDC’s presidential candidate.

“I believe he has a good chance, it has always been a 50-50 chance in Ghana so between the NDC and the NPP, I think it is going to be tight but he has a good chance. Anywhere in the world, incumbents have the edge because he has the facilities at his disposal and has the largesse to distribute”.
