Mahama must apologise to his party – Nana B

The 2016 presidential candidate for People’s National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Mahama must apologise to his party leadership for accepting ambassadorial offer to serve under President Nana Akufo-Addo.

“He must simply apologise for accepting an offer to become ambassador at large to the PNC leadership”, New Patriotic Party (NPP) aspiring National Youth Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye admonished.

“This should not be a problem between him and the PNC….I think he must apologise for doing no consultation before accepting such an offer from President”, he stated on Asempa FM’s afternoon political talk show “Eko Sii Sen”

The fourth time presidential candidate Dr. Edward Nasigri Mahama has come under attack from the PNC leadership for accepting an offer from the President Akufo-Addo without consultation.

In a panel discussion on Eko sii Sen hosted by Kojo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA), the Deputy Director of National Service Scheme (NSS) in charge of operations faulted Dr. Edward Mahama for taking the appointment on the blind side of his party’s leadership.

“I will fault him first for not informing national executives of the party but I will urge the executives and all members to forgive him”, Henry Nana Boakye pleaded on behalf of the newly appointed Ambassador at Large.

“All PNC members should know and understand that this appointment will bring honour to the party and not only the one person who has been appointed”, he explained.

Meanwhile, Dr. Edward Mahama is reported to have said he has accept that position of Ambassadorial at Large post to fulfill his long dream to lead Ghana and also contribute in his small corner to national development.
