Mahama meets Queen Elizabeth today

President John Dramani Mahama is expected to make a historic visit to the Buckingham Palace on Thursday, October 23 to meet British monarch Queen Elizabeth II.

The president will be accompanied by a number of government officials.

Queen Elizabeth II, Head of State of the United Kingdom, is the constitutional monarch of fifteen other countries and Head of the Commonwealth, which Ghana is a member of.

President Mahama’s visit is expected to reignite the cordial relationship between the UK and Ghana.
