Mahama lynching suspect: I am innocent; I fled because of heavy military presence

One of the suspects who was arrested in connection to the death of Captain Maxwell Mahama at Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region has denied taking part in the action.

The suspect, Charles Buah, 30, who was arrested as he was seeking refuge in his girlfriend’s house at Dominase, explained to the Kasoa Divisional Police Command that he was on the run due to heavy military presence in the area.
