Mahama is capable, competent leader- Hanna Tetteh

Story by: Samuel Ablordeppey. New York.

The communications director for the John Mahama campaign team for election 2012 Hannah Tetteh has debunked statements from the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the effect that the president was incompetent and lacks credibility, saying ‘’president Mahama is abreast of the responsibilities and duties of a president and has credibility in the eyes of majority of Ghanaians and the international community.’’

According to Madam Hannah Tetteh, President Mahama possesses the requisite criteria to lead Ghana for another four years. She described the political experiences of Mr. Mahama as enormous and rich enough to make the right decision which will make Ghana a better place by improving the lives of the people.

She said, having been a Member of Parliament (M.P) for 12 years, a deputy minister, rose to be minister, became the vice president and now president, Mr. Mahama stood tall among the other presidential candidates and is best placed to winning the 2012 elections massively.

Speaking Radio Gold on the sidelines of the ongoing United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, USA, Madam Hannah Tetteh said she believed without an iota of doubt that the Ghanaian electorate will maintain President Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in power for the next 4 years.

‘’John Mahama will continue to lead the country in the right direction, if the people give him the opportunity to continue in December. It’s for the people of Ghana to judge.

If the NPP make a statement to the effect that President Mahama was a wonderful leader, it would crumble and destroy their campaign, thus their resolve to this unnecessary personality attacks. But let me tell you the president is credible, humble and focused to improving the lives of the people,’’ She said.

The communication director for president Mahama campaign and aspiring M.P for Awutu in the Central region said the president was committed to ensuring Ghana continued to maintain the relatively high profile among African countries on the international stage.

‘’President Mahama is experienced, able, capable and competent to run the country in a productive and effective manner,’’ She said.
