The Upper East Regional Youth Organiser of the new patriotic party, Ibrahim Bashiru is urging the Ghanaian youth to vote out President John Dramani Mahama because he has failed them.
According to him, in 2012 the youth of the west African nation saw Mr. Mahama as a youthful leader and had high hopes that he would create employment avenues for them. Alas, that wasn’t the case. Their hopes, he noted, have been dashed by the President.
The three regions up north, he added, have also gone through a similar experience and now see the President as their enemy. “Today, I can confidently tell you that President Mahama is the number one enemy in the three northern regions”, he noted.
Bashiru made this observation when addressing thousands of youth at the Ghana Youth Rally organised by the youth wing of the elephant family at Moree in the Central Region on Sunday.
Commenting further, he said President Mahama has demonstrated that he is incompetent and therefore does not deserve another term in office.
Instead, he said it is only a vote for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that the youth will be relieved from the difficulties they are going through.
