Mahama inspects Kejetia Central Market project

President Mahama with his Accounting to the People’s tour to the Ashanti Region has inspected ongoing works at the redevelopment of the $ 298 million Kejetia Central market project.

The phase one of the project which is progressing steadily includes 10,000 shops, a clinic, a police station, a social and recreational centre and others are expected to be provided.

President Mahama in an address assured traders in Kumasi the market complex will be completed on schedule to provide them with a permanent and safe place to engage in their trading.
