Mahama didn’t write the Constitution – Koku Anyidoho

The Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says President John Dramani Mahama did not write the 1992 Constitution and that he acted according to the laws of the state by granting remission to the Montie three.

Speaking with Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka M Drive Tuesday, Koku Anyidoho mentioned that the President has not abused the Supreme Court since he did not grant the remission on the same day the Montie three were sentenced.

According to Koku Anyidoho, those against the president’s remission are the members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who boycotted the revision of the 1992 Constitution and so they cannot love the Constitution more than those who were present.

“The President used the Constitution to do the right thing and should not be criticized, “he concluded.
