A member of the Council of State who doubles as Chief of Vogu Vonaa, Mohammed Bawa Abdulaia has called on the people of the Northern Region to vote massively for President John Dramani Mahama on December 7 for his unprecedented works in the region.
He made the remark on Tuesday when the Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur called on him at his palace as part of his campaign tour of the Northern Region.
He said for development aspect its a bonus because President Mahama has done so well and that he – as a Chief is a living witness.
The Chief also said a precedent has been set where under the fourth Republican Constitution he’s seen every President going for a second term, so the need to help and give President Mahama a second term and is from the North as it’s being done for other President from other regions .
So he called on other regions and the Northern to give President Mahama a second term since its become a convention. The Vice President on his part said John Mahama has done well hence the need to give him a massive win to continue with his good works .
He said the policy of the NDC is ‘people first’ and that they would continue do what is good for the country through massive infrastructural development.
He used the occasion to introduce the NDC Parliamentary candidate for the area Ras Mubarak to the people, so that he would compliment the efforts of President Mahama in his second term.
