Mahama buys Manasseh’s book for GHC13,000

President John Mahama on Wednesday bought a copy of journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni’s book for GHC13,000.

The journalist who is famed for his numerous works against corruption launched his book ‘Voice of conscience’ at the Christ the King Parish hall in Accra.

Mr. Mahama who recently became a target for Manasseh’s work reportedly told the gathering through a representative that he follows his works closely and believes he is playing a role in shaping the nation.

The President and his conduct recently became a matter of public discussion after Manasseh revealed in his investigative report that Mr. Mahama, while a vice president, received a Ford vehicle gift from a Burkinabe contractor who had won a contract in Ghana.

The matter is currently being probed by the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice.
