The selection of respondents for the survey was done using a Multi-Stage Random Sampling approach that guaranteed the selection of the final eligible respondent was done at the household level and without bias, giving all respondents equal chance of being included or excluded in the sample.

Sample allocation was done in proportion to the voters’ population in each region, subsequently, the number of constituencies selected in each region was based on the sample allocated to each region while ensuring that at least 50 interviews were conducted in each constituency.
