Madam Theodosia Okoh gets birthday gift from Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama, and the First Lady, Mrs Lordina Mahama, have presented a birthday cake and other items, as well as an unspecified amount of money to Madam Theodosia Salome Okoh on her 92nd birthday.

Madam Okoh, a retired art teacher and a stateswoman, was born on June 13, 1922. She is famous for designing Ghana’s flag.

Presenting the items on behalf of the President and the First Lady, Mr. Kennedy Adjei, Programmes Director of the First Lady, extended profound gratitude and birthday wishes to her, adding that the whole country joins her to celebrate the special day.

Madam Okoh, who was full of smiles and excitement, asked “so they know my birthday”?

She extended her greetings and appreciation to the President and the First Lady for remembering her on her birthday.
