A traditional priest by name Okumfour Nana Asare aka Nana Budozza is currently battling with his life after a man believed to be mentally challenged, slashed off his ear at Manso Adobea in the Ashanti region.
The supposed ‘mad’ man Kofi Owusu aka Kofi Abban who is a small scale miner according to Abdul Malik Anokye was sent to the priest to cure him of his madness which he is reportedly suffering from due to excessive smoking of Indian hemp popularly also known as ‘wee’.
Kofi Owusu who had been in the custody of the priest for a week reportedly untied himself from the rope which the priest had tied him with.
He engaged the priest in a ‘hot’ fight and reportedly slashed off his ear and again hit him with a hot stick, Malik Anokye reported.
The victim is currently on admission at the Agroyesum Government Hospital.
