On sunday evening around 18.00 the twin daughters of maame Dokonoo and an elderly woman by name Freda Ofori Atta organised and attacked John MacNally-Boateng, the PRO of the NDC Amsterdam branch .
The attack took place at the Gazenpoort Metro Station. It could be recalled that last Saturday Spirit FM the leading Ghanaian Radio Station in the Netherlands hosted John Macnally-Boateng on the morning Show. The issue of Maame dokonoo was discussed and John MacNally-Boateng said the case of Maame Dokonoo was not politically motivated and cautioned that it is very important to investigate the background of all individuals who want to operate orphange before they are permitted to operate.
After the peaceful conduct of elections in Ghana, one would have thought that Ghanaians would focus more on the challenges facing the country and try to develop the country. But that is not the case in the Netherlands. Here in the Netherlands if you belong to any other political Party apart from the New Patrotic Party you are counted as an enemy.
Some supporters including the chairman of the NPP in the Netherlands have created an atmosphere that does not promote unity among Ghanaians in Amsterdam. Last year before the elections a lot of horrible incidents occurred in Amsterdam one of which Ama Beyiwaa Doe was intimidated at a funeral gathering.
