Lt Col Glawu is dead

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) have announced the death of Lieutenant Colonel Franklin Glawu, Chief Operations Officer at the Southern Command.

A statement issued by Lt Commander M. A. Larbi, for the Director of Public Affairs Directorate of GAF said Lt Col Glawu died on July 4 at Darfur, Sudan.

There would be wake keeping on Thursday, August 22 at St Martin’s Catholic Church, Whilster Barrack, Teshie at 2000 hours, Friday, August 23 burial service at the same church at 0900 hours and burial at the Osu Military Cemetery.

The statement said the memorial and thanks giving service would also be at St Martin’s Catholic Church at 0800 hours.
