Lockwood Institute holds Executive Summit

Lockwood Institute has held its maiden Executive Summit on the 1st and 2nd September, 2014, presented by Prof Pikay Richardson on the theme “Doing the Right Thing vrs Doing Things Right: The Recipe for Business Success in a Global Environment” for Senior Managers and Executives.

Another session was held on “Self-Management: The Innovative Guide to Achieving Your Personal Goal” for the ACCA students and students of other disciplines.

Lockwood Institute, the first institution in Ghana to run Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as a degree course, offer professional development courses to equip clients with the skills to succeed in the business world.

Lockwood Institute holds regular conferences inviting key corporate leaders and academics to share their knowledge and experience with students.

Apart from the Executive Summit and Conferences they organize, the institute has three main training programs in Business Education, Continuous Professional Development and Accounting Software Training.

The Continuous Professional Development (CPD) targets corporate entities in both Private and Public sector; hence, some of the courses they offer include Project Management, Leadership Skills Development, Time Management, Corporate Planning and Budgeting among others.

On Accounting Software Training, the institute has designed a special training to help one get the most out of the Accounting Software in SAP, TALLY and SAGE. They facilitate knowledge transfer and help clients to quickly gain, and continue to realize the full benefits of their investment in accounting software packages.

Lockwood Institute also does training and consultancy in business transformation, public sector change, employee and driver behavior modification and project management excellence.
