Local Government Workers Union congratulates Adjiri Blankson

Accra, May 13, GNA – The Local Government Workers Union (LGWU) of the Trades Union Congress, on Friday congratulated Mr Stanley Adjiri Blankson, for being re-nominated by the President as the Accra Metropolitan Chief Executive.

The Union also commended the Government for the decision. Mr William Mensah, General Secretary of LGWU, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, expressed the hope that Mr Blankson would be able to discharge his duties creditably during his second tenure of office.

Mr Mensah said Mr Blankson’s re-nomination was a clear indication that “the man really performed well and proved his competency”. He assured Mr Blankson of the Union’s cooperation at all times.
